The new residential tower sets a new standard for high-quality serviced apartments in Hanoi. The slim tower holds 324 high-end apartments on 31 floors. The building sits above a dual height podium containing a resident club house and F&B facilities. Parling spaces for the residents are in three underground levels. Our agency was invited to compete for the interiors and façade design for an existing design, but quickly identified a number of ways to improve the efficiency of both the apartment layouts and the form of the tower itself adopting an increased “holistic” role to design the façade and interiors, as well as the architecture and landscaping.
The tower includes four different type units (studio-apartment, two & three-bedroom apartment and a slightly larger three-bedroom apartment on a typical floor) from level 3 to level 27. The top of the building houses duplex apartments and top-floor luxury penthouses. Designed from inside-out as well as the outside-in, the layout maximizes cross ventilation and creates a generous sense of light in each apartment. Every typical three-bedroom apartment, duplex apartment penthouse has a balcony to provide external space and solar shading as well.
The complex is located in a dense high rise urban area, the form and orientation of the tower has been carefully considered to prioritize views. Even the low-level apartments enjoy views of a new garden space that turns the club house area on the third floor into a relaxing space. The lobby and facility spaces are spare, lofty and open to the surrounding streets and neighborhood.
